Gigi Buffon the Italy 'keeper said Spain make the bitter pill of defeat easier to swallow because of their amazing quality after a 4-0 thrashing in the final of the Euro on Sunday.

"Against Spain, you accept losing more easily," said Italy captain Buffon. "It was a great adventure. In a final, you have to win but today we played against a team of incredible quality."
